The Yabatech College of Technology also offers admission into Bachelor’s degree programs. 

Yaba College of Technology which is also known as Yabatech is one of the best Universities in Nigeria. Yabatech is also the oldest tertiary institution in the country.

Yabatech school fees are paid online through Remita. However, you are expected to pay an acceptance fee as a new student.

How to pay the Yabatech acceptance fee

  • Visit Yabatech’s official portal at Yabatech.edu.ng
  • Select the option that reads ‘Acceptance fee’
  • Click on the Applicant Login.
  • Type in your UTME/Application Number in the space provided.
  • Login in to your profile
  • Select the ‘Pay now’ button
  • Proceed to ‘make payment’
  • Take note of the remita retrieval reference number. This is also known as the RRR number
  • They are two ways of making payments. You can make payments through a commercial bank. Alternatively, you can make a payment via your ATM card.
  • To make payment through ATM, enter your card details and proceed with the payment. After the transaction is completed, click the button that reads ‘print evidence of payment’. That is what you will use to print your receipt.
  • If you want to pay through a bank, print the payment invoice and go to the bank to make payments. 
  • After completing the payment, go back to the website and validate your payment through the validation link. You will need to provide your RRR number and UTME/Application to validate.
  • Login again and print out your payment history page.

NOTE: The validation is only possible if the payment transaction is successful. If the validation is confirmed make sure to print out your receipt.

Can I enter Yabatech without JAMB?

To be eligible for admission into Yabatech, candidates are required to score as high as 200 in their JAMB UTME. A score of 180 in your will be a considerable score to gain admission into Yabatech.

Can I combine my O’level results to get admission?

Yes. One of the requirements of the Yaba College of Technology is this: Candidates must have at least five credit from two sittings in their O’level exams.

How much is the acceptance fee for fresh students?

All fresh students of Yabatech are expected to pay an acceptance fee. The acceptance fee cost the sum of twenty-five thousand naira only (N20, 000)

 

How much is the Yabatech school fee?

Yabatech school fees are categorized by the different study programs available. (OND full-time and part-time; HND full-time and part-time)

Yabatech School fees for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) full-time program is N75, 000. However, students in Mass communication pay N83, 000. Fresh students are to pay N10, 000 for the following: Departmental dues, Faculty dues, and SUG fees.

Yabatech School fees for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) part-time program is N75, 000. However, this does not include other charges.
